Another Potato Chip Weekend

In an alternate space (109A Brewer Ln.) a block away from the main gallery, Oneoneone will host a group exhibit, Another Potato Chip Weekend, featuring a range of video, self-illuminated, and audio works by central North Carolina-based artists Bill Brown, Jerstin Crosby, Sabine Gruffat, George Jenne, Lindsay Metivier, Alyssa Miserendino, Travis Phillips, Rachele Riley, Derek Toomes, and Louis Watts. The exhibition offers an opportunity to view a format of work that is often missing from the gallery setting in the region. The work runs the gamut in terms of content and form, yet all are united by their need for the cool darkness to house them. Come let the waves of light and sound wash away the summer’s thick and heavy atmosphere. This exhibition will run through Oct. 12th.
